On completion of any share purchase, the new owner will be responsible for the monthly subscriptions, due first working day of each month. This subscription is reviewed annually at the AGM.
N.B. Although we still use a notional boat value of £40k, which is what we bought Andante for in 2017, market values have risen substantially over the last couple of years and if buying a complete vessel you would probably need to spend around £50k to buy one comparable to Andante.
Each share represents 10% of the assets of the Owners' Club, namely the vessel, the contingency fund and the already funded 'fixed' operating costs to the end of the applicable 'operating year' (effectively February to January).
All shares that come up are 'Ordinary' shares with NO priority for school holiday weeks.
